Bottoms up! – we’re in PEI

There’s nothing like a road trip with the family at the beginning of a long weekend.

Heading to our friends on Prince Edward Island, with their daughter, Jodi, hitching a ride with us. Under Jodi’s influence we began to listen to the country music radio station – it was the best of a bad lot.

In between spotting wildlife – one kyote, one raccoon and one eagle – and thousands of trees, we listened to a few tunes.

There are three main subjects of your average country song. Girls. Trucks. Beer. So I’ve learned that if you get all three in the one song, you have a Number One hit. Like the Canadian Country Music Song current number one, ‘Bottoms Up!’

P.S. It’s late, we’ve travelled – this is all I’ve got today…

I'd love to hear what you think...
